Boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest boat and water sports exhibition, reopened its doors from January 20th to 28th, 2024, offering a comprehensive showcase of boats and water sports equipment with over 1,500 exhibitors from 67 countries across 16 exhibition halls spanning 220,000 square meters. Highlighting the growing popularity of low-voltage maritime innovations, this year’s event saw companies like silixcon, providers of electronic speed controllers and brushless motor controllers, in attendance to meet partners such as Aero Foils and JetSurf.

Boot Düsseldorf is an annual yacht and water sports show held in Düsseldorf, Germany. It is considered the largest event of its kind in the world. As the organizers stated, “With 214,000 visitors from 120 countries, we achieved a good result and can be more than satisfied in these challenging times. Customers and exhibitors have a unique platform for networking here.”

Exhibitors display electric leisure craft, commercial vessels, inboard/outboard motors, lithium-ion batteries, DC-DC converters, onboard chargers, and shore power pedestals. The sector also hosts seminars and expert discussions on trends in sustainable, low-emission electric marine propulsion.

This focused area highlights the industry’s shift towards eco-friendly, low-voltage technologies that reduce emissions and noise pollution in the boating world. It represents a comprehensive showcase of cutting-edge electric solutions for recreational and commercial marine applications.
