RISE Robotics, founded in 2011 in Somerville (MA) by MIT and RISD alumni, develops advanced electric linear actuators designed to replace hydraulics in heavy and industrial machinery. Its core innovation, the Beltdraulic™ system, provides the strength and precision of hydraulics without fluids—offering up to 3× higher speed, 3× greater energy efficiency, and longer lifetime with predictive maintenance.
In 2025, RISE Robotics’ Beltdraulic™ SuperJammer robotic arm set a Guinness World Record by lifting 3,181.95 kg (7,015 lbs), making it the strongest fully electric robotic arm in the world. In this project, the company integrates the 25 kW Motor Controller, ensuring reliable and efficient drive performance for their groundbreaking actuator systems.
